What is Hades?

Hades is one name 

that humans have used 

for what We refer to 

as “the waiting place”, 

the place where all souls go, 

both the good and the evil, 

and where they shall wait, 

until the Day of Judgment. 

“Hades” has sometimes 

been translated into “hell”, 

but that is not correct, 

even if the wicked 

shall experience it 

as very unpleasant.

The waiting place 

is a beautiful 

and peaceful place of light 

and those who were good 

shall enjoy it and be at peace. 

But the wicked 

cannot appreciate this place, 

they cannot stand it. 

For some of the wicked, 

this place is experienced 

as so awful 

that they cannot endure it... 

Some of the most wicked 

will try to fight this place with anger, 

and from time to time 

these wicked souls 

are allowed to enter 

into another place 

where they shall wait, 

a place of darkness and madness, 

which shall soothe their anger...
